Here are a few behind the scenes photos from yesterdays Rogue Republik editorial. Twelve hours of shooting with some awesome individuals! By the end of the day were all quite delirious which was entertaining and a lot of fun! I’m very excited to see the finished products, especially the green screen shots. But while you wait to see the photos from the shoot stop by roguerepublik.com and pick up your Heisenberg shirt!

Some of the hard working people that made it all happen!
Thank you Rogue Republik & thanks Intuit Media Group for letting us use your studio!
It has been especially gloomy for the past week or so. I thoroughly enjoy a good storm every now and then, listening to the rain trickle off the roof like a gentle lullaby, watching the drops form pattens on the windshield while the low roar of thunder surrounds me. It tends to be an inspiring experience. But a week straight is a bit much for even me.
The sunshine state rarely lives up to it’s name in the summertime.
It’s amazing how something like the weather affects your perspective or outlook, sometimes more than other times.
Since the rain began I have sat in a bookstore for hours on end hoping that surrounding myself with the end products of one of the things I am trying to accomplish would somehow rub off on me and get my book written faster. Drifting in and out of focus I wasn’t making much progress on my writing, so I decided to check my email. Yesterday I inquired about photographing an interesting editorial and I saw that they responded saying they were interested in me shooting with them. I replied with my number and not 5 minutes later my phone rang! I booked my first paid editorial!! Falling Up Studios’ first gig is in two weeks. Reinventing myself is one of the smartest decisions I have made in a while. I hope to use this as a stepping stone in the direction I want to be going.
Something I love about weddings is that you never know what to expect! You may have seen a wedding I was a second shooter at recently on the internet or on tv thanks to a wedding crasher who caused some attention….
Serena Williams “crashed” Sam and Ruth’s Miami Beach wedding!
Serena caused quite a stir on the internet and even talk shows like The Wendy Williams Show. People were claiming that she took attention away from a bride on her wedding day but coming from someone who was actually there…. That is nonsense! The ceremony was over so she did not interrupt anything and the couple was absolutely thrilled that she came over to take some photos and say hello. The Chicago couple got to experience the true Miami lifestyle on the happiest day of their lives!
Thanks Serena Williams!!
Here are some other shots from the wedding.
I love taking my time and getting all the little details at the table.
